Trump’s echoes. This brief focuses on the incident involving Charlie Kirk at Utah Valley University and what is confirmed so far. The initial news coming out of Utah Valley University is as follows.
“Today at about 12:10 a shot was fired at the visiting speaker, Charlie Kirk. He was hit and taken from the location by his security. Campus police is investigating, a suspect is in custody” (UVU).
UVU’s post was an initial statement; later official updates varied on custody status (CBS News; Reuters).
Kirk was 31 years old at the alleged time of death who is survived by a wife, a former beauty pageant contestant, and two children. Allegedly although being in the public eye for soapboxing and being paid for it, the names of his children have always been closely guarded according to (People).
